Each of the parables of the kingdom thus far have described a kingdom that comes in unexpected and subtle ways until it has become a powerful force, unable to be conquered, and changing the landscape around it. The parable of the Lamp is no different, but it points to the only variable that we can control; ourselves. How will we respond to the kingdom?
