When we think of intercession we typically think of someone praying fervently for unending hours, but the actual meaning of intercession is a priestly intervention to stand between God and man, to petition God for the sake of another, while offering to take the hit for the other person in a sacrificial way. For example, what Jesus did for us on the cross is as much intercession as someone praying for us. So what happens when the heart of God for us, meets the intercession of God for us?
