John 13:36-14:14
We are looking at Jesus’ instruction to his disciples about the Way and his assurance that the disciples know the Way, because they know him. This deeply relational explanation of the kingdom of God and eternal life was confounding to his disciples who had grown up studying Torah their whole life but whose culture had reduced the Way from relationship to rule following, which had resulted in God’s people losing their way and being led astray by religiosity.
