The purpose of a gift is giving, its something we give away. When God gives his gifts to his people, he does it to bless the whole church. When we keep refuse to use our gifts not only do we deny the entire church, but we actually do harm to our own spiritual health as well as Christ’s body, the church. But when we use our gifts, to bless the body, the whole church becomes healthier and happier, including ourselves.
