Psalm 23:1-6

When we think of a life without lack most of us are thinking of provision which is key to this text. Many of us are thinking about issues of safety, and care, which was also a part of this text. But few of us think about the presence of God as being an essential ingredient to a life without lack. But Kind David saw this as the summary of why he neither feared or went without, because he found his source in the mercy and goodness of God, whose presence was ever with him.
